Arctic Wild is offering two trips geared specifically for photographers this summer. If you’ve been hankering to take your camera to the arctic, and/or hone your technical skills you have your pick from two trips this summer, one in Gates of the Arctic National Park, and one in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Polar Bears

Back by popular demand we are going to once again be taking a small group to watch Polar Bears in Kaktovik this September. Our four-day trip to the Arctic Coast this weeks odds will include three evenings of watching polar bears from shore and two boat trips on the Beaufort Sea to watch bears interacting, swimming and resting in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Though the trip is attractive to photographers, you need not even have a camera to enjoy this adventure to the best polar bear viewing location on earth.

Gates Photo Workshop

Guide and professional photographer Dave Shaw will be leading a Photography Workshop in Gates of the Arctic National Park this August. Our new “Arctic Images” trip combines the joy of camping in the Brooks Range with a top notch photography workshop. Dave’s knowledge, patience, and good humor will hone your photography skills amid autumn colors and rugged mountains.
