Danielle found her way to Fairbanks from Florida in the summer of 2017 to attend grad school at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She studied communications as a graduate assistant for the Outdoor Adventures program, focusing on outdoor leadership, education, and recreation. During the winter months, she works as an adjunct professor at UAF teaching classes for Outdoor Adventures and the Department of Communication.
Danielle’s primary job is as warehouse manager for Arctic Wild. She keeps our shop and gear clean, well-stocked and organized, and assists guides packing for trips. She keeps track what’s where and when, and is a general jack of all trades. She also likes to get out of the shop and into the Arctic to lead trips, where she is a capable boatman and excellent cook. Danielle’s positivity, curiosity and enthusiasm are a joy to be around.
