GuideGwen Quigley

Gwen is a born and raised Alaskan who spent her childhood skiing, hiking, rafting, and camping in the mountains near her hometown of Girdwood. More recently, Gwen has called the Interior home where she lived while she pursued her undergraduate and master’s degrees at University of Alaska Fairbanks. Through her research, Gwen traveled to remote areas of the Arctic and developed a deep appreciation for the region’s beauty, rich cultural history, and ever-changing complexities. Guiding with Arctic Wild allows Gwen to continue her goal of being a lifelong student of the Arctic, all while sharing her love of the outdoors with others.
