Robyn Thomas Arctic Wild Guide

GuideRobyn Thomas

Robyn grew up in Colorado and considers herself lucky that her earliest and fondest memories were floating on rivers and sliding in the snow. She found her way to Alaska in 2021 researching birds on the Arctic Coastal Plain. The birds brought her north, but Alaska charmed her in too many ways to count so she stayed and now lives in Fairbanks. Robyn started guiding for Arctic Wild in 2021 and she loves watching clients light up while connecting with the landscapes, flora and fauna of Alaska. In her free time, Robyn likes to bike with her dog during all seasons, make hundreds of tamales at a time with her partner and friends, ski to cabins to drink tea and play cards, and mend broken clothes and gear. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in wildlife biology studying birds that are wintering in the Aleutian Islands.
