Originally from Wyoming, Tim started guiding pack-trips and dog sled trips in the Wind River Range. In 2012, Tim moved to Alaska seeking bigger landscapes, and his passion for exploring wild places and sled dogs. Initially Tim guided dog sledding trips on the glaciers and ice-fields of Southeast Alaska, then followed his dream of traveling long distances by dog team while training and racing in the Iditarod and the 1000 mile Yukon Quest. In addition to dog-sledding Tim has guided across the state from Southeast Alaska to the Bering Sea and up into the Brooks Range. Through his experiences on the trails, Tim has developed a deep admiration and respect for the land, people, and animals of Alaska. Tim loves to share this knowledge and enthusiasm with people through his work as a guide at Arctic Wild. His calm demeanor and incredible competence are an asset to any trip.
